Call for help

Dear friends,

One of the mitzvos of Purim is to give Matanos L’Evyonim. (As One of Purim’s primary themes is Jewish unity. Haman tried to kill us all, we were all in danger together, so we celebrate together too. Hence, on Purim day we place special emphasis on caring for the less fortunate).

Keren Esther” makes fulfilling this Mitzvah in a reliable, convenient, and Mehudar manner easier than ever before. Under my direct supervision, the annual Matanos L’Evyonim campaign brings immeasurable Simcha to dozens of families of Shluchim in desperate need.

We cannot do it without you!

Two weeks ago, after many tests, a father shliach (in eastern Europe) discovered that his 7-year-old son had a birth defect in his kidneys therefore they almost do not function.

Now he’s getting into very high and big expenses with new drugs and more doctor’s visits and so on. (In the future, naturally, a kidney transplant will be required but this is a different story).

They need huge financial help.

A veteran shlucha has been diagnosed with metastatic breast cancer, an incurable illness. She is undergoing treatment to fend off the cancer for as long as possible. Meanwhile, she is also taking care of her single mom daughter and two grandchildren, with no financial help from the ex husband.

In fact, the ex husband, is fighting in court to get custody of the children, and to evict them from their home. This is taking an immense financial and emotional toll on the shlucha and is CV causing her treatment to be less effective because of her fatigue and stress.

We urge you to please help ease the tremendous financial burden of treatment and legal bills, and help the shlucha while she battles for her life.

Thanks for helping out!
